The Hood Internet – “Won’t F— Us Over” (feat. BBU, Annie Hart)

I have no idea what just happened.

At first I thought I was following the video storyline just fine.  A bunch of youths break into an abandoned movie theatre (at least, that’s what it looks like to me) and party by playing games and overdosing on junk food – of course, not until everyone’s there. It’s bad etiquette to break into a bag of Funyuns without waiting for everyone to arrive, don’t you know.

And then things get weird. I mean, really weird. We see the repercussions of too many Funyuns (note to self: never eat those).  Naturally, no video is complete without a battle with a tribal warrior involving a toothbrush stabbing and a child doctor.  There’s more weirdness, but I don’t want to spoil it for you.

The only thing I can confirm is the obvious: the hook is The National’s “Mr. November”.  “Won’t F— Us Over” is from The Hood Internet’s first studio album Feat, released in 2012 on Decon.
