Kalle Mattson – “Avalanche”

This past weekend, director Philip Sportel took home the annual Prism Prize for best Canadian music video, for his work on Kalle Mattson’s “Avalanche.”

As the video explains, Mattson and Sportel set out to recreate 35 well-known album covers, with a Mattson skew. See if you can name them all, then check out the list below (note: list was provided by a YouTube commenter and may contain inaccuracies).

Also rewarded at the Prism gala, was Eva Michon, who won the Audience Award for Death From Above 1979’s “Virgins.”
