Romance can be awkward, especially during those high school years. Girls worry about how they look, boys worry about being cool and your crush’s feelings are never mutual.
But adolescence is also the time for fantasizing that you may actually stand a chance of dating your favourite band member, even if in reality you’re 15 and they’re in their twenties or, god forbid, their thirties. Once our male teen star convinces himself that his limited edition vinyl makes him cool personified, you can’t help but root in his favour as he awkwardly makes a move on the pretty girl who is all consumed with which RAA member is her true crush. Oh, to be young again.
“Stamp” is from The Rural Alberta Advantage’s second album, 2011’s Departing, which was also happened to be number nine on our 2011 Albums of the Year.
