CMW 2014: Indian Handcrafts at Cabin Fever

Sargent House residents, Indian Handcrafts, were in town for two shows, this CMW. Knowing that getting into the Mod Club on Saturday evening to see them was going to be too great a feat (LA’s No Age and Toronto’s Biblical were also on the bill), I headed to the far reaches of Bloor Street West and found them playing an in-store at a very cool coffee shop/record store named Cabin Fever.

Upon entering the venue and securing a delicious grapefruit and eucalyptus tea, I found a spot and wondered how the small space would accommodate the booming sound I was expecting. Everything fortunately fit, and Indian Handcrafts successfully rocked my socks off, assaulting the West End for six songs that included their hit “Bruce Lee” (video shown above), before taking off for their evening gig.
