Flume and Chet Faker – Lockjaw

It may be an incredibly hipster combination, but the dynamic Aussie duo that is Chet Faker and Flume works, and works well.

Lockjaw is an excellent teaser for those who hope for a complete album from these two.  The opener “Drop the Game” picks up from “Left Alone” on Flume’s 2012 debut, but believe it or not, listeners will be pleasantly surprised by the upbeat twist in the third (and last) track.

Speaking of twists, the moves of dancer Storyboard P in the video below are full of them, and so smooth, one almost wonders if there are magnets under his feet pulling him along the damp streets. It’s a refreshing change of pace from all of the twerking that’s been going on as of late.
