Granted, she arrived at this position (assuming the song is factual) after a breakup, but the outcome does us all a service, regardless of the events that led to it. A pop record with no overt love songs: when’s the last time you heard one of those? The word ‘love’ is a crutch used by too many musicians; Bulat has no need for it.
