There was only one other great song on Feeling Strangely Fine (“Never You Mind”)—that was only because it made a Star Trek (Original Series, of course) reference—but all a band needed to make it big in 1998 was one or two unforgettable numbers and a cool video.
This style is often imitated, but never duplicated. Each frame was filmed as one continuous shot, with no editing, and the synchronization was masterfully executed. Bands these days have a hard enough time doing it with only one frame.
